Our addiction to mountain biking and to the natural environment around EcoHotel Koroš have led us to discover new places, new trails and new itineraries throughout Slovenia.

As we do occassionally get off our bikes and because we do not want to forget our pedestrian guests, we are proud to say that we have also designed  walking holidays in the heart of the Slovenian Alps.

Don't want to take part in a several-day tour? Your friends are on a biking tour but you prefer to walk?

You can start your walk directly from EcoHotel Koroš and go on a short walk for an hour, half day or even a full day. A variety of routes of different levels and the small mountain roads make our region a great walking and hiking destination.

TOURS

The Slovenian Alps seem to be different from other mountain ranges: they glim in the light as they are composed of white limestone. The walking tours take place in remote regions and will take you through fabulous valleys, with astonishing panoramic views every day.

Each tour starts from EcoHotel Koroš in Jamnica, where you will spend at least the first night, and we will tell you all you need to know about the tour and the region.

8 days/7 nights    SLOVENIAN ALPS - KARAVANKE

Your tour starts among the isolated farms of the Savinjske Alps. You will continue to the Logarska Valley which is known as one of the most beautiful glacial valleys. You will cross Jezersko, litterally the "place with a lake". And from there, you will walk to the world famous Bled with an island in the middle of a lake and an old church on it.

This tour is designed for hikers experienced in hiking in the Alpine regions, despite the fact that you will generally walk on wide trails.
