THE BEST SINGLE TRAILS in SLOVENIA

When riding with friends and discovering the most hidden and remote trails and the best view points, we often do not know which way we should choose. Where would the best single trails be? How do we get there? Where to start? And at last, when we are back in the valley, we find out that another way might have been even better. Does that sound familiar?

Single trails are there for our pleasure. If you have enough time to explore where the best one might be, do so, but if you only want to enjoy riding our solution for you is: “pathfinder” (local guide) + bike shuttle service.

A variety of landscapes and an almost unlimited number of epic single trails can be found in the small area of Slovenia. Years of riding, guiding and discovering trails have led us to prepare a tour with the best single trails in three of the most beautiful biking regions in our country.

We will spend two days riding in each region and a support vehicle will accompany us at all times to help us travel from one region to another. Our accommodation consists of carefully selected hotels and typical tourist farms. All luggage transfers as well as the last day's transfer to our base are arranged. As all of our guides are local, we can easily adjust our tours to group requirements and weather conditions.


Day 1 (Saturday)
Arrival at Ecohotel Farm Koroš, BikeNomad base.
Welcome dinner and meeting.

Day 2 and 3 (Sunday and Monday)
During the first two days, we will ride in the area surrounding our base. The diverse terrain and countless options for riding are a perfect start, so we can prepare for the next days' riding and get to know each other. To spice things up, we will take on a unique mountain bike experience, the underground biking. Biking trough a onetime mine is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, which can only be done in our region and nowhere else in the world.

Day 4 and 5 (Tuesday and Wednesday)
We will take an early lift to our next base in Kobarid, where we will continue with two of the best rides in the famous Soča Valley. Due to its history during Worl War I, the valley is full of military paths and terraces which provide a variety of small trails. Its unique, beautiful and unspoiled nature makes it perfect for unlimited fun.

Day 6 and 7 (Thursday and Friday)
Leaving the Alps and heading south, we travel to our next base at the foothills of the Karst region. Different landscape and climate will make us think we are in a completely different place of the world. While biking on the highest mountains of the region, our views will open to both the Slovenian coast and the Alps.

On Friday afternoon, we will head back via the capital of Ljubljana to Ecohotel Farm Koroš.


To Take Part in the Tour...
You have to be in good shape as the total ascent can reach up to 1,500 metres per day and a day trip can be as long as 50 km. For all tours, a mountain bike is necessary!
