
DISCOVERING THE SLOVENIAN ALPS
In Slovenian Alps the world shines with a special light because the mountainsare made of white limestone. The peaks are steep, the valleys deep, and the streams full of clear water. The slopes are blanketed by thick forest and the meadows filled with wild flowers and what is most important - they are perfect for mountain biking.
Itinerary:
Day 1 MOUNTAIN BIKE PARK
Our meeting point is the centre of a Mountain bike park - bike hotel at tourism farm Koroš a unique base for activities which take place in the surrounding woods and mountains.
Day 2 UNDREGROUND BIKING
Warm up tour around the "Single Trail Arena". Today we will ride "through the mountain" in an old mine where is a 6 kilometre path for bikers.

Day 3 SAVINJA ALPS
Cycling between the isolated farms in Savinjske Alpe is a first-class pleasure and many bikers agree that this mountain panoramic road offers the most beautiful views in Slovenian mountains.

Day 4 THE KARAVANKE RANGE AND BLED LAKE
Broad high mountain pastures are typical for south slopes of Karavanke range that borders on Austria. On this day we will bike to the world-famous Bled and its lake with an old church on the island in the middle.

Day 5 THE BOHINJ LAKE AND TRIGLAV NATIONAL PARK
With its lake and surroundings, Bohinj is one of the natural wonders Slovenia has been generously endowed with. Our planet adorned itself with various decorations, but right here it created a natural paradise.

Day 6 JULIAN ALPS AND SOČA VALLEY
The Julian Alps are the highest in Slovenia, therefore the views from the roads leading over the central parts of the Triglav national park are amazingly beautiful.
The most renowned of Slovene alpine rivers is the Soča and many people consider it the most beautiful European river. Its water shimmers in a unique emerald colour. It is worldwide known for the bloody battles of the Soča front that took place here during the World war 1.

Day 7 MEDITERANEAN
At last biking day we will ride on the border of Alps on range with beautiful views on Italian Friuli Venetia to the great vine region Goriška Brda. The Slovenian word "brda" means "hills" and this is the simplest description of Goriška Brda: a region of low rounded hills in the western part of Slovenia, with a Mediterranean climate.
